There was one subject that always brought a bright smile to the face of Katherine Gianaclis during her final days of life on this planet. Her angels.

She had painted a lot of angels during her two previous years, but here was the next step.

Just as her style changed from 1996 to 1997 and into '98, here were the paintings that would bless the new millenium.

Thirty magic marker drawn sketches intricately prepared for the application of paint to canvas by their creator.

Gianaclis was only able to begin one of her newer style angels. It is a painting, although unfinished, that tells the story of the life of an entertainer.

The angel tips her hat to her audience and says goodbye.
